About Us

The Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships Alumni Association of Uganda (CSFAAU) is a registered organization that unites a dynamic network of Ugandan alumni who have benefited from the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship programs under the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission

As part of a global community of professionals driving development across diverse sectors, CSFAAU is committed to fostering collaboration, amplifying alumni impact, and upholding the values of excellence, equity, and global partnership that define the Commonwealth.

What We Do

The Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships Alumni Association of Uganda is dedicated to fostering collaboration among alumni, promoting knowledge exchange, and driving impactful initiatives that contribute to national and global development. Here’s an overview of what we do:

Networking and Community Building

We create platforms to connect Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows across Uganda, encouraging collaboration and sharing experiences. Through regular events such as reunions, professional meetups, and online forums, we strengthen our community bonds.

Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing

We organize:

  • Workshops and seminars: Focused on key development topics like education, health, technology, and governance.
  • Webinars and training sessions: Led by alumni experts, providing continued learning opportunities.

Mentorship and Guidance

We guide the next generation of leaders by:

  • Mentoring aspiring Commonwealth Scholarship applicants.
  • Career development programs: Supporting young professionals and students in building their career paths.

Community Engagement and Advocacy

We champion societal transformation by:

  • Supporting community projects led by alumni.

Membership

Membership is open to all Ugandan alumni of the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) who have completed their studies or fellowships in the UK. Alumni from diverse fields bring together a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experiences that drive the association’s mission.
