Tree Project

6500 Trees

The Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships Alumni Association of Uganda (CSFAAU) has launched an ambitious plan to plant 650 trees in schools across Uganda in celebration of 65 years of the Commonwealth Scholarships. This alumni-led initiative, running from December 2024 to December 2025, aims to honor the legacy of the scholarships while promoting environmental conservation and sustainability in Uganda.

The tree-planting project will involve alumni collaborating with schools and local communities to create green spaces, raise awareness about environmental stewardship, and inspire young learners to adopt eco-friendly practices. By integrating this effort with educational activities, CSFAAU seeks to leave a lasting impact that aligns with global goals for climate action and sustainable development, fostering a healthier and greener future for generations to come.
