CSC Alumni Organize Midwifery Training with Support from British Council

In a significant initiative this year, several of our CSC alumni coordinated a comprehensive midwifery training program, generously backed by the British Council. The event garnered notable participation from representatives of the Council and esteemed CSC alumni, including Collin Ogara, Chairman of CSFAAU.

Scheduled on Tuesday, 6th February 2024, the training was held at the Wash and Wills Hotel located in Mbale district. The venue served as a central hub, attracting Assistant District Health Officers (ADHOs) and midwives from the wider Mbale, Tororo, Busia, Palisa, Budaka, and Kibuku regions, all falling under the jurisdiction of the Mbale Regional Referral Hospital.

The training session stands as a testament to the commitment of our alumni to give back to their communities by sharing the knowledge and expertise they acquired during their scholarship tenure. Through initiatives like these, they actively contribute to the advancement of healthcare services in Uganda, fostering a brighter future for the nation.

We commend our alumni for their dedication to making a tangible difference in their communities, embodying the spirit of scholarship and service. This endeavor underscores the enduring impact of the CSC program in empowering individuals to drive positive change for a better Uganda.
